How VERA treats what you share

VERA is a companion for reflection and everyday help. She is not a clinician, not a medical record, and not emergency care.

Signed-in chats, memory, reminders, and a connected inbox are stored so she can help you again. Mail is read only after you connect Outlook or Gmail and ask.

Preview without an account can talk, type, check weather, translate, and open public Learn and crisis resources. Photos, files, mail, memory, and research stay off until you sign in.

Create account uses a confirmed email. Phone confirmation is paused until VERA can send texts.

What you type can be sent to Azure AI (Foundry), Content Safety, Speech, Vision, and Document Intelligence so she can answer. We do not sell your conversations.

You can turn off history, clear memory, and delete your account in Settings. Deleting an account removes your cloud threads and connections from VERA.

Crisis lines use your country only. Location never changes the language she speaks.
