Terms of use

VERA is a companion for reflection and everyday help. She can talk, type, read what you attach, check weather, translate, and reach mail or calendar you have connected.

VERA is not a clinician, a therapist, a diagnosis, a medical record, or emergency care. She does not replace licensed care. Nothing she says is medical, legal, or financial advice.

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. Crisis support inside VERA lists public helplines and is not a substitute for emergency services.

You must be 18 or older to create a VERA account.

One account per person. A confirmed email is required before an account exists.

Do not use VERA to harm yourself or anyone else, to break the law, or to attempt to extract another person's data.

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity on your account.

You can turn off history, clear memory, disconnect apps, and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, cloud conversations, and connections from VERA.

The free preview is limited. VERA Pro is $12.99 per month and renews automatically until you cancel.

If you subscribed inside the app, Apple charges you and manages the subscription. Payment is taken by your Apple ID at confirmation. It renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.

Manage or cancel an app subscription in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

There is no free trial. Refunds for app purchases are handled by Apple under their policy, not by us.

If you subscribed on the web, that subscription is billed and cancelled on the web.

Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects a renewal.

You keep your own content. You give us permission to process it so VERA can answer you.

What you type or say can be sent to AI and safety services so she can respond. We do not sell your conversations.

Do not upload content you have no right to share.

Anything you export or share out of VERA leaves VERA, and whoever receives it can read it.

Connecting Outlook or Gmail is your choice and covers your own account only. VERA reads mail or calendar, sends a message, or adds an event only after you ask.

Signing in with a Gmail address is not the same as connecting Gmail.

You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

VERA can be wrong. AI answers may be incomplete or mistaken, so check anything important before acting on it.

VERA is provided as is. We do not promise she will be uninterrupted or error free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived.

You can stop using VERA and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend an account that abuses the service, endangers others, or breaks these terms.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will say so in the app.
